Sahara Tent Restaurant Review
We were at Hock Choon and decided to have lunch nearby and we saw Sahara Tent only a stone throw away at Hock Choon grocery. I love middle eastern food and that is why I did not hesitate to get lunch there. The restaurant is huge and as soon as you enter you can see the interior decoration a bit middle eastern vibe, colorful and spacious. We choose to sit at the corner near the window facing the road, not a good choice though a bit humid. Inside there is more table available actually. Connected to the restaurant is a Thai restaurant a bit strange also. So we ordered Mandi Lamb, Humus and Arayes Lamb. The Mandi lamb is ok nothing special for me. Tender and the tomato salsa is really match made it heaven. Although I prefer lamb with fats a a bit gravy on it. The Humus is soo silky, served with 1 bread, it is so fresh and crusty, I love it but quite stingy though I wish they add more 1 piece. Although I prefer a bit grainy humus. Its fine anyway.
